Double Delight Mystery - Solved!

Here is Double Delight solved and laid out on my floor! It reminds me of a flower garden. Maybe Johnny Jump Ups. What do you think?

The double color border was a way to use what purple fabric I had, even though I didn't have enough to do the entire border in one color. It wound up being good idea!

I love the way the lines of squares draw your eyes along the pattern.

I tried to fit the entire top in the picture but the ceiling got in the way!

Next up is sewing it all together, trimming the edges and considering additional border stips. I'll tackle that part tomorrow!

What a pretty quilt! The first thing that came to mind were Pansies, and then Johnny Jump Ups. :)

  8. Wow. I love it. It is nice to see that design done with purples instead of pinks. Bonnies patterns look great with different colours. This design is on my "to do " list. Best wishes from the uk.
