Squared Up

Last November, I had made a large Carpenters Frame block that was sitting in my sewing room waiting for a use. 

I looked at that 24" block lots of times, trying to decide how to make it a piece of quilting joy. Time went on and I kept thinking.... I hung it on my design wall.... I auditioned border colors.... It shall be a square table covering. 

Finished with several FMQ patterns and bound with striking cranberry red, I love the final result!

"L" and "e" shapes

The back looks great too!
