Another craft I enjoy is knitting. My mom taught me to knit when I was quite young. I am proud of my beautiful needle collection. Some were handed down to me, some were extras out of my aunt's collection, some I bought because I liked them... You know how it is.I may not always be knitting but it is something I come back to after the longing revives inside. I have a beautiful yarn stash and pattern library that inspires me. Here's what I have on my needles now-
This will be part of the waistband of a sweater! Isn't that going to look interesting?! The pattern was in a Vogue Knitting magazine, created by Irina Poludnenko. Every time I think of how long it will take to complete this sweater, I look at the picture. Then my mind is changed! I want to finish it, even if it takes me a year!
