Baby's First Year Memory Quilt

What do you do with that box full of your baby's first year clothes? Store it away under the bed or up in the attic? I say, no to that. Continue to enjoy them in a memory quilt! 

Here's one I finished for a very happy mom. 

The outfits were appliquéd in their own panels of fabric. 

These were shirts. Now they're cute hexies set in the quilt. 

The butterflies were taken off of booties. 

Some of the clothes got cut up and ragged on the edges. 

The lace skirts were kept in tact for a nice dimensional touch. 

Lastly, my label went on the back.

Any appliquéd or custom designed quilt has 50% added to the cost. Any quilt can have a sleeve attached to top edge for hanging upon request.

Nitty gritty details of the above pricing:

Stabilizer - $1 per shirt for 12.5"x12.5" squares

+Sashing fabric - 1.5 yd for every 8 shirts - $10  - 3.5"x18" to surround 12.5" squares plus additional fabric for top and bottom borders

+Thread - $5 up to full size, $10 for queen and larger

+Batting - $5, 15, $30, $45, $60 (size dependent, low or mid loft polyester)

+Backing - 5 yards 45" at $7/yd for 60"x80" size (or 2 yards 108" sized fabric at $10/yd)

+Dowel for wall hangings - $5
