What do you do with that box full of your baby's first year clothes? Store it away under the bed or up in the attic? I say, no to that. Continue to enjoy them in a memory quilt! Here's one I finished for a very happy mom.
The outfits were appliquéd in their own panels of fabric.
These were shirts. Now they're cute hexies set in the quilt.
The butterflies were taken off of booties.
Some of the clothes got cut up and ragged on the edges.
The lace skirts were kept in tact for a nice dimensional touch.
Lastly, my label went on the back.
