En Provence, Clue 2

The first week of Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt is done and week two is underway. How'd you do? Are you sewing or enjoying the project through the links?

Want to join in? It's not too late! Go to quiltville.blogspot.com and select the En Provence tab to find all you need to know. Here's the direct link for clue 2  and here's where you can see what other quilters are making!

A quick recap- Last week, we made our pile of four patches!

On my vintage featherweight machine, I use the seam guide accessory to get accurate 1/4" seams.

Works like a charm!
I did a post about using this accessory in Featherweight Quilters Skill Series.

As Bonnie described this week's clue, it's all about magenta! I love pairing red and creamy white. So pretty and vibrant. My neutral is all the same fabric and I wound up with three choices of the magenta.

I got 30 of the blocks sewn and pressed.

The neighborhood winter cold/flu found my house and I had to take a break. It's hard to sew when you have to blow your nose every 5 minutes! But the rest will be done by Thursday night! Have fun with your blocks! If you leave a comment, I'll check out your post and comment back. Have a terrific week!

Oh...I like your magenta fabrics, too! Sorry you have a cold. Hopefully you will be feeling back to normal very quickly. Happy sewing!

I'm also using multiple magenta fabrics, so it's nice to see another doing that. Looks very good so far!

Like your mixed up constant, and the florals are so pretty in your four patches.
