My sister and nieces got together tonite to do some knitting projects. My sister is making a caveat and my niece is making a regular sized scarf with cables. We had a fun time just talking and goofing around with each other. I have about 5 projects all started and I go between them as I am ready to tackle them for a while. This is why it takes me a LONG time to finish anything!

I'm a little ignorant here, but what's a caveat?
A caveat is a short scarf that you can wrap around your neck and secure with a pin or a pick. They were quite popular with men years ago. If you make a lacy one, it is very pretty to wear in the spring when it's too warm for a full sized scarf.
