After a month gone from working almost exclusively on all the pieces for the craft show, my sewing room, ThistleFire, is back in its normal action again. And it's going wild in there!Someone has commissioned me to make custom baby room items with an African animal theme. The baby is coming in mid-June, so back at it! The safari print and minky fabrics are on the machine, sandwiched together to make a luscious crib quilt!
This is going to look fantastic when it's done!
Free motion quilting was added in each of the panels to help the animals "pop" out.
A pair of pillows, a crib bumper, and one of my car seat cozy blankets will round out the room's look. What do you think of a safari themed nursery?
